The Site attaches great importance to the privacy of its users.
This Confidentiality and Privacy Policy complies with the laws in force in Quebec regarding personal information, namely the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act and the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector(hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Act”).
No disclosure of the user’s personal information will be made, including information that could directly or indirectly identify the user, without the user’s consent or as authorized by law.

Confidentiality and Privacy Policy

1. Personal Information
For the purposes of this policy, “personal information” is any personal or material information about an identifiable individual.
The Site collects the following information:

The Site also collects personal information on the user’s income as part of its service offering, namely the following information:

The personal information that the Site collects is gathered using forms and through the interactivity established between the user and the Site.

The Site uses the information for the following purposes:
• Track your variable credit line application
• Statistics
• Contact
• Website management (presentation, organization)
• Information/Promotional offers

Personal information is used to identify the user, to provide appropriate and personalized service, and to comply with legal requirements in terms of consumer protection and micro-lending, more specifically:
• Assess the customer’s financial situation
• Suggest suitable, personalized financial products
• Respond to money variable credit line requests
• Manage the file and the variable credit line with diligence
• Facilitate variable credit line renewal
• Facilitate tracing, if necessary

3. Cookies
During a person’s visit to the Site, a feature of the browser software may be used, known as cookies, as well as log files, to collect information anonymously and establish a profile of visitors to the Site.
A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that identifies the browser each time there is a visitor to the Site. Cookies tell us which pages have been visited and by how many people. This helps personalize information according to individual interests.

The Site collects other information via cookies and log files:

5. Access and Modification of Information
Users have the right to access, modify, correct, or delete their personal information.
To correct or update personal information, to request the removal of personal information from the Site’s contact list, or for any other questions concerning the collection and use of personal information, the user should contact the designated person at the following coordinates: info@mtln.ca.
When a person communicates by email, the return email address is used to reply to that person. The Site does not use this email address for any purpose other than to respond to the visitor, and under no circumstances is this email address shared with any third party.
The Site will not collect information without authorization. In the event that a request for information is sent by email to the Site, personal information will only be forwarded to employees of the Site who require such information to respond to the request for information, and such personal information will not be disclosed to third parties without valid consent, unless required by law.
6. Privacy Policy
The Site is committed to taking all necessary measures to protect personal information stored electronically or on paper.
To this end, the security of personal information is protected by the following mechanisms:
• Data hosting with a “Tier 3” provider (just below military level)
• IDS and Firewall
• Encrypted offsite and onsite backup
• Database system on SSD and SAS up to 400,000 iops
• Unique public IP address
• Monitoring and HDCE GUARD
• Dedicated HA hosting (8 hosts for 1 virtual server)
• Redundant firewall
• Internet links up to 10 GB/s
• DDOS protection
• Restricted and supervised physical and IT access
• Authorization levels for authorized persons
• Inability to copy or transcribe information in batches

However, it should be noted that the Site cannot guarantee that security measures will, in all circumstances, be able to prevent an ill-intentioned third party from obtaining and taking possession of the information exchanged and stored.

7. Data Storage
The Site reserves the right to store personal information provided following the termination of the contractual relationship. The stored personal information continues to be subject to the obligations of this policy.
In this regard, it is the user’s responsibility to contact the Site in order to exercise their rights under subsection 5.
8. Links to Other Sites
This privacy policy applies only to the Site and does not apply to other websites suggested by related links appearing on the Site concerning other corporations or services.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
The Site reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time by posting a new Privacy Policy on the Site without notice or notification. The Site’s collection, use, and disclosure of your information will be subject to the version of the Privacy Policy then posted and in effect.
10. Consent
With regard to this policy, the user confirms that they have read and understood the applicable terms and conditions.
11. Written Document
The user may keep this Privacy Policy in text form by printing the complete document and attaching it to the Service Agreement. However, this policy may be found on the Site at any time for online consultation.

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this site (hereinafter, the “Site”).

1. Terms of Use
This Site is the property of MTLN.CA and its subsidiaries (hereinafter, the “Company”). It is managed and maintained by the Company and hosted by GoDaddy. At all times, reference to the Site includes the Company.
By using the Site, the user agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions stipulated (hereinafter, the “Terms”) as a user. In the event that you do not agree to the Terms, the Site requests that you do not browse or transact on the Site. The Site may modify the Conditions at any time and without notice, and the modified version will take effect as soon as it is published.
2. Scope of Terms of Use
This document contains the Terms and Conditions governing the use of the Site, as well as all applications and services offered through transactions made on the Site.
3. User Eligibility
The user must have the legal capacity to consent to these Terms and must be a physical person consenting in their own name or a legal entity duly represented by a person in a position and authority to do so, and this, in consideration of the law governing their place of domicile.
Falsifying identity while using the Site will be considered a violation of the Terms of Service. This may result in total, permanent, and irrevocable expulsion from the Site, in addition to civil or criminal prosecution.
4. Copyrights and Trademarks
The user acknowledges that the information, documents, images, trademarks, products and services, and other materials published on the Site (collectively the “Information”), including the presentation and arrangement of such Information on the Site, and all related information, are the exclusive property of the Site. Any use of the Information is prohibited without the prior written consent of the Site. Except in the specific case where the Site grants a person a written license to use the Information, no license or other right, express or implied, is granted to any person.
More specifically, use of the Site does not grant any right, title, or interest of any kind whatsoever in or to the Information, including but not limited to logos and other trademarks owned by the Site, which reserves all intellectual property rights related to the Information.
